There is only one, official, legal, clothing-optional beach in the state of Florida, and this is it. The pristine white beach is among the best in South Florida, but only part of the mile-and-a-half stretch is set aside for those who prefer to sunbathe unclothed. That area, at the north part of the beach, is clearly marked to prevent people from being surprised by their neighbor on the sand disrobing. The entire beach is protected by lifeguards, and it also offers a host of amenities including various shaded picnic facilities, beautifully landscaped sand dunes, and concession stands. The beach is ideal for surfing as well as swimming. When people think of Miami Beach, this is the beach that comes to mind.
I understand that all of South Beach allows topless sunbathing. But I'm curious if there is a particular section of South Beach where it is more prominent? We are also looking for a good hotel that isn't very kid friendly. We're thinking the Surfcomber or Shore Club Topless is most predominant from 15th Street to 23rd with the highest concentration in the th Streets due to the higher end hotels being there. My husband and I recently returned from a week on South Beach. We enjoyed it even more than we did last year.
Nude Beach is the best beach in Miami... - Haulover Beach Park
The sun shines almost everyday of the year and with the ocean breezes blowing gently, it can make you feel like your on an exotic tropical island. South Beach in Miami is one of the hottest, trendiest places to visit. And for people who enjoy sunbathing in the nude, just north of South Beach lies a stretch of beautiful beach called Haulover Beach. Here you can choose to take it all off and avoid those tan lines completely. This beach has two sections, one for regular bathers and one for nude bathers.
